Going On Tour anytime soon?

CDMA or GSM cell phone technology!? The constant battle for supremacy looms on. A lot of people probably don't know or even care about the difference between the two. Without getting TOO technical, SSD is here to BREAK DOWN THE HYPE, erase the layers and get to the bottom of things, right?! Lets get to it...
Okay, GSM is a cell phone technology used commonly around the world and usually has a sim card so you can interchange phone carriers throughout your travels. Heres the catch: For the states, if you have an ATT or T-Mobile world phone (which uses the world common GSM technology) then yes you can go around the world with your phone, but you still can't use it with Verizon or Sprint because these particular US cell phone companies use CDMA technology and DO not use sim cards which makes them incompatible. (SOME WORLD PHONE! Bleh, just more hype!)
If you plan on going on tour and have sprint or verizon this is a good phone for you to cop. Even if youre not going on tour, this particular blackberry has the newest upgrades, operating system and fast processor so it really is a great addition to the blackberry family especially for us CDMA customers.
