Khloe & Lamar Episode

Last night on E! Entertainment's hit show Khloe & Lamar, Rob Kardashian's birthday party at Stingaree was briefly shown (event took place in San Diego, March 19th).

It's interesting how the show portrayed Malika and Rob's type of "relationship". As I was photographing the event, from the outside looking in, it seemed as if everyone was just good friends and Rosa "may or may have not" made a move...hmmmm, I wonder?

Ronnie Hits The Daygo Shore

Ronnie Magro from MTVs Jersey Shore stopped by Stingaree last Friday to hang out in the Daygo Shore with fans and party people as well as the Get It In crew.

Ronnie pretty much kept it low key by popping bottles with close friends and hanging out in Stingaree's infamous Penthouse VIP suite where such stars as Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and John Legend have in the past.

DJ Cobra was also in the mix spinning the heat while Holly Montag kept a low profile as well.

Brody Jenner's Birthday Bash

When most people are ready to call it a night after a long night of birthday fun, Brody Jenner knows how to keep his birthday party going long after the lights turn on.

MTV's The Hills reality star let the party people know it was his birthday and they could keep partying if they wanted to.

I will say, Brody is cool in person and definitely knows how to have a good time.

Brody's good friend Frankie Delgado was in the mix as well ready to up the ante if Brody ever felt the need to tap out.

With those two at any party, I guarantee that won't happen.

Johnny Drama @ Stingaree

This past Friday, the birthday boy Kevin Dillon graced Stingaree with his presence along with the Ora of his Entourage persona Johnny Drama by greeting fans and shaking hands.

Dillon arrived in style stepping out a similar old school Lincoln Continental just like the one Dillon's Entourage character Johnny Drama drives around Hollywood on the show.

The night made for a pretty spectacular escapade as some of the ladies couldn't keep their hands to themselves.

I always get a kick out of photographing celebrities when they come to San Diego because it always seems to bring the element of Hollywood a step closer to reality.

Spartacus Party @ Stingaree

Let's face it, Comic-Con is not just for comic book readers anymore. The annual Comic Convention held in San Diego's Convention Center has become a national attraction for any type of popular culture phenomenon seeking promotion.

Its almost like each year a red carpet is laid out throughout the Gaslamp District where at any given time you can see A-List celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie and Robert Downey, Jr. having dinner at a local restaurant, having a drink at the Hardrock Hotel's lounge or just embracing the San Diego lifestyle while visiting.

This year I didn't take part in the insanity at the convention center because I knew that because Comic-Con is so big now it would spill out of the convention center and into the city.

Besides the usual yearly Comic-Con party like the Syfy Party at the Hotel Solamar, some of the spillage included the Starz hit show Spartacus party sponsored by AMC Theaters at Stingaree.

Stars such as Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford could be seen engaging on Stingaree's prestigious rooftop enjoying hosted movie candy and popcorn.

*Sidenote: I love my life and I had to take advantage of the free candy because usually when you buy snacks in the theater you're going to end up paying an arm and a leg. I'm just saying.

Anyway, Check out the photos from the Spartacus party Here.

B.O.B. & Charles Hamilton @ Stingaree

Between the Padres Baseball game, Drake performing Live at the annual Sun God Festival at UCSD and The 93.3FM Summer kick off concert, yesterday I can truly say it was a mad house for all of downtown. I really can't stress how excited I was for San Diego.

If you add the nightlife element along with the afterparties, I would say it was the perfect combination for a great night downtown.

I also feel it was a great night for San Diego because hip-hop/R&B and the urban genre as a whole was alive and well bringing a positive response to downtown's Gaslamp District.

As promised, Drake was at On Broadway even though Nicki Minaj who was rumored to be coming ended up not tagging along for this one. She wasn't officially scheduled so it's no big deal. Hmmmm...anyway.

Usher was at Fluxx, but it was so packed that most people couldn't get in if you didn't know somebody or be there by 8:30 P.M.

And B.O.B. had a host of "friends" following him wherever he went throughout the whole Stingaree nightclub... the entire night.

What's funny is I always talk about "gaining the status" and people wanting to be around you once you are successful. Yesterday just proved my point.

B.O.B. is a cool dude, I met him and he was real chill, but we damn well know those "friends" would not be following him around if he wasn't "B.O.B." the guy with the number one single.

To be honest, think about your family and real true friends. They don't even follow you around like that and they are your friends.

The only reason I noticed this particular "group of people" following him around was because as I was working (i.e. getting paid to take photographs) these "friends" would jump in front of me to stand in line to hopefully get a chance to talk to B.O.B.

I was thinking to myself, "Wow, I'm working, what are YOU doing..." HA.

I digress.

The performance was cool and B.O.B. chilled the whole night which is always a good thing. Most celeb appearances have these stars hanging for a few minutes and then sneaking out.

Either way, it was a great night for San Diego and I hope we can have more stellar nights like this again. And Soon...

Stephanie Pratt At Stingaree

Saturday nights in the Gaslamp District of San Diego always bring a fun dynamic to the nightlife scene because you never know who will drop in to say Hi.

Of course it was business as usual for Stingaree Saturday night when Stephanie Pratt from MTV's The Hills stopped by to hang with the 'Daygo peeps.

Stingaree is known for bringing the hot talent out and Stephanie did not disappoint her fans by taking time to snap photos with their pocket cams as well as a mini PR photosession on "the mezz" with yours truly. Like I said...fun as always!

Swag Turned All The Way Up...

Hop up outta beeeeeeed, turn my swag onnnn...Wow, one week later from the day I took a late night oath at the 7-11 to never doubt my self again, guess who comes to town?

Soulja Boy Tell Em hit San Diego solidifying the fact that no one should ever turn their swag off!

To be honest, by Soulja Boy performing at Stingaree for a late night club appearance, it pretty much proved to me that you should always believe in yourself and stay motivated.

Soulja Boy is a young CEO of his own record label just barely 21 who believed in his self and now is a major contender in Rap's new school of artists.

Soulja Boy's performance had the crowd hype and it was good to see a young talent believing in himself and making his dreams come true.
