Twitter Party featuring a Live Performance by Tommy Redding

Ah...the end of July brought for a very busy, busy week for I.$.H. the photographer which was indeed a great thing. Friday night was the twitter social networking party and the official launch party of SSD! Fun times for sure...A lot of people came out so that was a good thing. Tommy Redding did a live performance and a lot of social networking was accomplished, ha ha. I am very pleased with the turn out and thanks to Z90 Radio station, DJ D-Rock, DJ Ironic, Ridiculous Entertainment and Tommy Redding (50Fifty Ent)

To Tweet Or Not To Tweet...

I believe there are two things that can make or break you when it comes to reaching great levels of success: opportunity and marketing (the hype). Of course we know opportunity is the actual chance to be seen or heard, and hype is the marketing push behind you. If you don't have one or the other the difference is like being a local garage band or becoming megastars like Blink 182 (Drummer Travis Barker's former band kids!).
Here at SSD, we are constantly on a quest to find out the latest and greatest and then try to break DOWN the actual hype and erase the glittery, shiny layers to find out if the actual concrete evidence about a product, concept or person is worthy of all the accolades. SSD wants to see if this NEW thing is really as good as the hype leads us to believe... and these days you never know what is just gonna take off to truly be successful. Who would have thought that Harry Potter, Napoleon Dynamite, The Hangover and Twitter would taken off like they have!?

What is twitter you may ask...Twitter is an e-mail type service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? (Basically with Twitter, you can be your own superstar by posting your thoughts/actions while people follow your updates and keep track of you as you bask in your own "celebrity-ism"...ha, or that might just be my thought process.)
I can honestly say, I like and use twitter regulary, but I want to find out does twitter hold up to the hype meaning, is it the next big thing or will "tweeting" go out of style like Ed Hardy in the next coming months...(oops did I say that?) Do you guys have a twitter account? If you do have a twitter account, leave a comment with your twitter screen name and lets build our network ;)

*Some of the stand out client apps for mobile phones are twitterberry, ubertwitter, twitterfon, tweetdeck and tweet genius.
